OF CHRIST THE KING CHAPTER IN ARKANSAS
| Nhân dịp mừng Bổn mạng và kỷ niệm 24 năm thành lập Đoàn TNTT Kito Vua – Arkansas, Soeur Teresa Mai Hường-Trợ úy Đoàn Kito Vua đã mời cha Anton Nguyễn Nam Việt thuộc phụ tỉnh Dòng Chúa Cứu Thế tại Mỹ giảng tĩnh tâm cho các em vào thứ Bảy, ngày 29/11/2025. Năm nay các em tham dự rất đông, tích cực và chủ động. Cha Anton rất khéo léo dẫn dắt các em trong các đề tài gần gũi thiết thực, chạm đến tâm hồn và cảm xúc không chỉ của các em nhưng cả các phụ huynh và những người tham dự, giúp các em biết trân trọng và quý yêu các tương quan Chúa ban, nhất là gia đình và các bậc sinh thành.
Chúa nhật, ngày 30/11/2025, cha phó Louis Đỗ Ngọc Tuyến và cha Anton Nguyễn Nam Việt dâng thánh lễ mừng bổn mạng và kỷ niện 24 năm thành lập Đoàn cho các em. Thánh lễ diễn ra rất trang trọng với sự hiện diện của cha Anton, cha cũng là đại diện của Liên Đoàn Biển Đức và của Trung Ương. Cha đến đồng thời chủ sự nghi thức trao khăn Tuyên úy cho cha phó Louis Tuyến chính thức nhận khăn làm Tuyên úy của Đoàn Kito Vua – Arkansas. Điều đặc biệt khác là trong Năm Thánh, Soeur Teresa Mai Hường cũng quy tụ các cựu Huynh trưởng của Đoàn Kito Vua trở về mừng bổn mạng và họp bàn cho lễ kỷ niệm 25 năm sắp tới. Sự hiện diện của quý Sơ Đaminh Tam Hiệp tại Barling cũng là sự động viên lớn lao cho các em. Bên cạnh đó, Đoàn TNTT Carlo Acutis thuộc giáo xứ St. Patrick, Little Rock cũng đến tham dự và chúc mừng Đoàn Kito Vua Arkansas. Sau Thánh lễ, các em chiêu đãi và cám ơn quý Cha, quý Sơ, quý khách và mọi người vì biết bao hồng ân và tình yêu thương đã nhận được trong suốt hành trình qua bằng các món ăn Việt Nam được chế biến từ bàn tay và tình yêu của các phụ huynh. Bên cạnh đó, các em mỗi Ngành cũng có những món ăn tinh thần qua tiết mục đặc sắc, sáng tạo, và có cả đơn sơ, ngây thơ gửi đến quý khách. Chương trình diễn ra thật tốt đẹp trong sự quan phòng của Chúa và sự hỗ trợ rất nhiệt tình của quý Phụ huynh. Chúng con tri ân Chúa và xin chân thành cám ơn tấm lòng và tình yêu thương của quý cha, quý Soeurs, quý Ân nhân, quý Phụ huynh và cộng đoàn giáo xứ. |
On the occasion of the Feast Day and the 24th anniversary of the founding of the Christ the King Youth Chapter – Arkansas, Sister Teresa Mai Huong, O.P., assistant chaplain of the Christ the King Youth Chapter, invited Father Anthony Nguyen Nam Viet from the Redemptorist Province in the USA to lead a retreat for the VEYM kids and youths on Saturday, November 29, 2025. This year, nearly all the VEYM members participated actively and enthusiastically even though it’s a holiday of Thanksgiving. Father Anthony skillfully guided the participants through relevant and practical topics, touching the hearts and emotions not only of the children but also of the parents and other participants, helping them to appreciate and cherish the relationships God has given them, especially their families and parents.
On Sunday, November 30, 2025, Father Louis Do Ngoc Tuyen and Father Anthony Nguyen Nam Viet celebrated the Anniversary and Feast Day Mass for the Christ the King Chapter. The Mass was very solemn, with the presence of Fr. Anthony. He also presided over the ceremony of conferring the Chaplain’s scarf to Father Louis Tuyen, officially appointing him as the Chaplain of the Christ the King Chapter – Arkansas. For this Jubilee Year, Sister Teresa Mai Huong also gathered former VEYM youth leaders of the Christ the King Chapter to celebrate the Anniversary and to plan for the upcoming 25th Anniversary celebration. The presence of the Dominican Sisters of Tam Hiep in Barling was also a great encouragement for the youths. In addition, the representatives of Carlo Acutis Chapter from St. Patrick’s Parish, Little Rock, also attended and congratulated the Christ the King Chapter. After the Mass, the Christ the King Chapter treated and thanked the priests, Sisters, guests, and everyone for the many blessings and love they had received throughout their journey with Vietnamese dishes prepared by the hands and love of their parents. In addition, each group of kids and youths also presented spiritual offerings through unique, creative, and even simple and innocent performances for the guests. The program went very well under God’s providence and the enthusiastic support of all people. We are grateful to God and sincerely thank the priests, Dominican Sisters, benefactors, parents, and the parish community for their kindness and love. |
